Good businesses know the value of forming strong relationships. But before they can create those bonds, they first have to connect—whether with customers, with colleagues, or even with established experts whose guidance can help them to grow. And that first step can sometimes be the hardest.
To help, MJSA sponsors several events and programs that enable jewelry makers, designers, and related suppliers to put themselves and their products forward. Whether it’s a face-to-face meeting at one of our shows and seminars, or the chance to have hard work receive the recognition it deserves, we offer many opportunities to create new connections and forge ongoing relationships.
The MJSA Expo is the largest and oldest show dedicated to professional excellence in jewelry making and design. Every spring, thousands of buyers fill its aisles and connect with the industry’s finest suppliers and service providers. They can also find renowned experts within easy reach, thanks to Expo’s world-class seminar program.
Make a better living doing what you love! This educational event focuses on “profit lessons” for jewelry makers and designers, covering such key areas as strategy and planning, digital marketing, inventory control, and pricing. In addition, attendees can access special password-protected “Online Extra" webpages, where they’ll find additional articles, videos, and other resources, creating a digital extension of the event.
Every year, MJSA sponsors the Vision Awards design competition to showcase the talents of professional and students alike. And by offering the winners widespread promotion—including through full-page advertisements in some of the industry’s leading trade publications—the association ensures that their triumph is known.
MJSA annually celebrates the year’s most innovative products that are making a difference in how jewelry is being made and sold. The selections are made by an independent panel of judges, all of whom are recognized internationally for their expertise, and the honorees are announced in MJSA Journal.
