MJSA ConFAB Will Offer a Pathway to Business Success
Dec. 7, 2023—MJSA ConFAB, a full-day educational program focused on best business practices for breakthrough success, will debut March 9 at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Sponsored by the MJSA Education Foundation, the conference will feature the innovative FAB business template. This template breaks down four key areas for business success—Strategy & Planning, Operations & Staffing, Product Development & Lifecycle, and Sales & Marketing—into three programming tiers that build upon one another:
Foundations: These sessions focus on business fundamentals that provide strong support for growth. Topics include how to fund growth, create a marketing and brand message that resonates, and develop a strategic plan and products that differentiate a business from its competitors.
Actions: These sessions offer practical guidance on how to scale a business's operations into repeatable success and continuing profits. Topics include ensuring that capital investments and talent development align with a company's strategy, increasing production capabilities, and creating sales frameworks that fuel growth.
Breakthroughs: These sessions look at how the alignment of operational and strategic performance can lead to insights and actions that propel a company ahead of its competitors. Topics include better engaging B2B buyers through website enhancements, developing a pricing structure that aligns with a company's strategic goals, and emphasizing continuous learning to fuel innovation.
The cost for the full-day conference, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch, is $149 for MJSA members and $179 for non-members. Anyone registering before Jan. 15 will receive a 15% discount.
The conference will take place one day before the start of MJSA Expo, the industry's longest-running trade show dedicated to professional jewelry making and design. Expo will run March 10-12 at the Javits Center in New York City.
