Sept. 19, 2024—Deepening a longtime partnership that has delivered one-stop shopping for jewelry retailers, designers, and manufacturers alike, Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) will launch a new pavilion for the 2025 JA New York spring and fall shows. The "MJSA Showcase" pavilion will bring the latest jewelry-making tools, equipment, supplies, and services to the JA New York show floor, making it even more convenient for buyers to find what they need.
The move marks a new stage in a partnership that began nearly a decade ago when MJSA's traditional Expo, the association's long-time show focused on manufacturing and design, began co-locating with JA New York's spring show, which attracts retailers from around the world looking for the newest and best jewelry designs.
"MJSA and JA New York are working to ensure the best experience possible for both buyers and exhibitors, many of whom have told us how much they appreciated the co-location and the expanded connections that brought," says MJSA President/CEO David Cochran. "Our exhibitors have emphasized they want to be where the buyers are, and being on the JA floor, which will now offer even broader appeal, optimizes the opportunities for buyers and sellers to connect. We look forward to working with the JA team to create an even more robust experience in one of the world's most vital jewelry markets."
“We are delighted to continue our long-standing alliance with Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America," says Matthew Tratner, group show director, JA New York Shows. "MJSA Expo exhibitors have always been a highly anticipated stop for jewelry manufacturers, designers, and makers, and the new ‘MJSA Showcase’ will provide both exhibitors and attendees of our event access to these critical resources, while also further enhancing JA New York’s reputation as a comprehensive marketplace serving the needs of all facets of our industry.”
Continuing the heritage of MJSA Expo, the new Showcase pavilion will emphasize the latest equipment, supplies, and technologies for professional jewelry making and design, with exhibitors able to provide demonstrations and offer buyers the chance to test new tools. The pavilion will also include premier subcontractors who can expand a jeweler's capacity or supply a needed skill set.
"Over the years, the MJSA Expo has proven to be one of the most productive events for our business," says one of those exhibitors, Oscar Valencia, president of Master Casting & Cad in Chicago. "The show consistently delivers high-quality leads, going straight to the heart of manufacturing and showcasing the latest in new technology. I consider the MJSA Expo to be one of the most successful shows we attend as exhibitors, right up there with JCK in terms of return on investment. The MJSA team and show staff are exceptional—always available, responsive, and just a phone call away. Their dedication and support make the MJSA Expo a vital resource for jewelers across the USA. We look forward to this event every year, knowing it will drive our business forward."
The MJSA Showcase pavilion will launch at the 2025 JA New York Spring Show, March 16-18 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
