DIASYNTH Diamond Verification Spectrophotometer
Gesswein
Developed for detecting lab-grown diamonds and simulants, the DIASYNTH is a diamond verification spectrophotometer that works by projecting a specific light within the UV range toward a gemstone so as to induce a light re-emission in the visible range of the spectrum. Suitable for use on D through K color stones in any cut or shape, the system can be used on both loose and mounted gemstones greater than 0.6 mm in diameter (0.001 carat). It is designed to detect and classify various types of natural diamonds, both CVD and HPHT lab-grown diamonds, and a wide variety of diamond simulants, including cubic zirconia, moissanite, glass, spinel, topaz, quartz, and synthetic/natural white sapphire.
